Aus Folk witch is a practitioner of Australian folk witchcraft. Folk witchcraft is a term given to us by Roger J Horne to explain witchcraft practiced by witches who follow folk ways of where they live. It is a local practice by its very nature.

Being a descendant of Europeans who settled in Australia two centuries ago, I cannot practice the way my ancestors did. Their connection was to European lands, mostly Celtic ones. At the very least, the wheel of the year is six months out of alignment with the seasons here and where I live has 6 seasons, recognised by the Gugingin Clan of the Yugambeh People, thousands of years ago. The Euro-centric ‘wheel’ does not fit here.

This website is about finding the path between the old and the new, finding my way forward as a practicing with of European decent, living in the great land, Down Under.
